KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 08, 2026: The Commerce Club of trade Titans of the Alphores Women’s Degree and PG College in Karimnagar town conducted a commerce meet titled ‘Synergy – Where Ideas Unite and Energy Ignite’, at Chemistry Bhavan in Karimnagar town on Thursday.
Satavahana University Commerce Department Head D Harikanth participated as the chief guest along with Alphores Women’s Degree and PG College Correspondent V Ravinder Reddy, who launched the celebrations by lighting the traditional lamp. The speakers said that the Business and Commerce play an important part in the development of an economy. India’s development trajectory is a unique journey where we have moved from a highly planned economy to a market-based economy. With the increased role of the private sector and deepened globalisation, commerce education became a go-to choice for students in the past few decades, they added.
On this occasion, the students made power point presentation on the impact of GST, Cashless economy, e-commerce and other topics. The students also enacted a play on the importance of the Commerce course, which is gaining popularity in the country. The students also presented funny programmes on the importance of Commerce through melody move, Unity-strength, reverse reasoning, logic link etc. The students also presented colourful cultural programmes on the occasion.
