
The Maths Olympiad is being conducted to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujam
A cash prize of Rs 4,44,444 would be distributed to students
KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 06, 2025: On the occasion of National Mathematics day on December 22 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujam, the Alphores Educational Institutions has decided to conduct a state-level Alphores Maths Olympiad Test (AMOT) 2025 on December 14, 2025.
Accordingly, the Alphores Educational Institutions chairman, V Narender Reddy and others released posters of the AMOT-2025 at the Alphores institutions central office in Vavilalapalli in Karimnagar town on Saturday.
On this occasion, Mr Narender Reddy said that the AMOT-2-25 would be conducted for the students from the third standard to the tenth standard from CBSE, state syllabus and ICSE. The examination would be conducted from 10 am to 11 am on December 14 in various centres of the Telangana state. The correct answer carries four marks, and for a wrong answer, one mark would be deducted.
For each class, the first 20 students would be given cash prizes and certificates. The first prize carries Rs 5,000, the second prize Rs 3,000 and the third prize Rs 2,000. A total of Rs 4,44,444 cash prizes would be distributed to the students on the occasion of National Mathematics Day on December 22 as part of National Mathematicians Day in Karimnagar town.
