KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 28, 2025: Students of Alphores Girls (e-techno) school, at Vavilalapalli in Karimnagar town, participated in the mehendi competitions as part of Aashadam month celebrations on Saturday.
Ashadam month is considered auspicious, with the traditional festival season including Bonalu in Telangana state and other festivities. As part of these festivities, the students celebrated the Mehendi with zeal and gaiety. They created beautiful designs on different themes by applying the mehendi on palms, hands and feet.
Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy said that the mehendi festival is very traditional in the country as it had a medicinal impact on the womenfolk to protect various during the monsoon season.
