KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 28, 2026: Alphores educational institutions in various parts of Karimnagar town celebrated the National Science Day with great enthusiasm and paid floral tributes to physic Sir CV Raman on Saturday.
Students conducted interactive science experiments during a special assembly, showcasing their creativity, curiosity and scientific temperament. The event highlighted the importance of science in everyday life and encouraged young learners to explore and innovate. The celebrations were held at Alphores e-techno school in Kothapalli, Bhagathnagar, Mankammathota, Alphores Planet Kids, Alphores Tiny Tots and Alphores Gennext schools in Vavilalapalli.

Before the launch of the celebrations, Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy paid floral tributes to the portrait of Sir CV Raman and remembered his invention of the Raman effect.

The National Science Day is celebrated in India to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Physicist CV Raman on February 28, 1928. India has been celebrating National Science Day since 1986, when the government of India decided to commemorate the announcement of the discovery of the Raman Effect and to encourage the development of a scientific mindset in the country.
The students presented thought-provoking projects such as solar energy, food chain, artificial intelligence, robot technology, organic cultivation, benefits of eating vegetables, maths tree and other working models. The school chairman felicitated the Science teachers on the occasion.
