KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 30, 2024: Students of Alphores e-techno school, Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar, celebrated the Diwali with religious fervour and gaiety on Wednesday.
To mark the occasion, a special assembly was organised, whereby the students and staff started the celebrations with a solemn prayer to the Almighty and a beautiful thought that filled hearts and minds with love and harmony. The students talked about the significance of the festival — how good always conquers the evil and how Diwali is celebrated across India.
Besides sensitising students about the ill-effects of crackers, students were also motivated to celebrate environment-friendly Diwali. Thereafter, special ‘aarti’ was performed thus seeking blessings of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Laxmi. An array of interesting and creative activities was also conducted by the school for the students of various classes. The students were seen enthusiastically participating in cultural programmes on anti-cracker rally, lantern making, poster-making activity, inter-house banner-making activity, best-out-of-waste activity, motif designing activity, etc.
Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy called upon the students to celebrate the festival in an eco-friendly manner without causing harm to environment by causing air and noise pollution.
