
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 17, 2024: The 68th School Games Federation Chess Tournament, organized for both Under-14 and Under-17 categories, was a grand success, held at Advita International School. The tournament displayed the immense talent of young chess players, thanks to the impeccable efforts of Karimnagar district SGF Secretary, Mr Wayne Gopal, Urban Secretary, Mr Shankaraiah Kankati and enthusiastic participation from various schools of the town.
The tournament was flawlessly hosted by Mr. Anudeep Sowgani, the Director of Advita International School, whose support made the event a seamless success. Special appreciation goes to Mr. Anoop, the Director of Genius Chess Academy, who co-organized the tournament with great passion, ensuring a stimulating atmosphere for all participants.
The event featured an inspiring address from the SGF Secretary, Mr Wayne Gopal, who praised the efforts of the players and highlighted the role of such tournaments in raising sportsmanship, resilience, and strategic thinking among young minds. The words motivated the participants to take both victory and defeat as part of their journey towards excellence.
