KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 26, 2026: Advita International School, Karimnagar, celebrated World Poetry Day with a vibrant, intellectually enriching event, bringing together the beauty of language, expression, and culture through poetry.
The event, organised by the High School students, showcased a remarkable tri-lingual poetry recitation in English, Telugu, and Hindi. The evening was a splendid confluence of literature across ages, where students eloquently presented poems from the Victorian Era, Renaissance Era, and Modern Era, reflecting the evolution of poetic expression and thought.
The stage came alive with powerful renditions as students confidently expressed emotions, ideas, and creativity, captivating the audience. The inclusion of Telugu and Hindi poetry added a rich cultural essence, making the event inclusive and diverse in its literary spirit.

The Management of the school – Chairman Komaraiah Sowgani and the Director Anudeep Sowgani appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers for curating such a meaningful and engaging programme. The Principal and the Vice Principal emphasized the importance of poetry in nurturing imagination, emotional intelligence, and linguistic skills among learners.
The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Gajula Ravinder, the President of the Jatheeya Sahithi Parishad Karimnagar District and the State Telugu Language Textbook Writer, who lauded the students for their confidence and expressive abilities.
In his address, he highlighted that poetry is a powerful medium that transcends boundaries and connects hearts. He encouraged students to continue exploring literature and use language as a tool for creativity and self-expression.
