KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 03, 2026: To make children appreciate their tradition, culture and to connect them with their roots, the Advita International school, Bhagathnagar, Karimnagar, organised a Holi celebration for the students of Pre-Primary on its premises on Tuesday.
Holi is celebrated to welcome the spring season. It is also known as the festival of colours. It celebrates the eternal love between Radha and Lord Krishna. Decked up in traditional apparel, the students were brimming with excitement and joy. The festival is a unique opportunity to share happiness, love and positivity. Primary students showcased their talent on virtual meet with different activities like poster making and slogan writing.
Chairman of the school, Sowgani Komuraiah, appreciated the students participating in the festival. He said, “Let the colours of Holi spread the message of peace and happiness.” Sowgani Anudeep, Director of the school, said, “Holi marks the triumph of goodness over evil. Red ‘gulal’ being prosperity and yellow being health.”
The management emphasised that festivals are not just about celebration but also about responsibility towards nature and society. As a thoughtful and innovative initiative, students recycled used colour sheets and old art papers, instead of using synthetic colours, creatively transforming them into playful, eco-friendly confetti. The activity not only spread happiness but also reinforced the value of environmental consciousness.
The campus echoed with laughter, music, and vibrant cheer as students joyfully shared the recycled confetti, symbolising unity, positivity, and the triumph of good over evil. Teachers guided students on the true significance of Holi — celebrating harmony, forgiveness, and new beginnings — while inspiring them to adopt sustainable habits in daily life.
The celebration beautifully reflected Advita’s commitment to shaping responsible, joyful, and socially aware citizens. By merging tradition with mindful action, the school once again proved that true celebration lies in spreading happiness while caring for our planet.
