HoD Prof. Tirukovela Srinivas Honoured
KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 31, 2026: A team of Botany faculty members from various colleges visited the Research Centre established in the Department of Botany at Sri Rajarajeshwara Government Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar town, on Tuesday. The visit aimed at strengthening research knowledge, promoting academic collaboration, and enhancing the quality of research practices among faculty members.
Faculty members from Government Women’s Degree College, Karimnagar, and Government Degree College, Luxettipet, actively participated in the programme. During the visit, the team interacted with Prof. Tirukovela Srinivas, Head of the Department of Botany and Controller of Examinations. They observed the laboratory facilities and gained valuable insights into ongoing research activities.

Detailed discussions were held on research methodologies, preparation and submission of research papers, and strategies for publishing in reputed national and international journals. The participants also learned about the essential components required for high-quality research publications and effective academic writing.
The visiting faculty included Nalla Manoj Kumar, Rekha Rani, Priyanka, Mounika, Ramya, Atya Sultana, Anita, Ravali Krishna, and Sandhya Rani, along with other faculty members. The programme was attended by the host institution’s faculty including Rauthu Radhakrishna, Padala Tirupati, Mohammed Tahir Hussain, Kandukuri Kalajyothi, Bunga Tirupati, Asampalli Swaroopa Rani, and Mohammed Tajuddin.
On this occasion, the visiting Botany faculty team felicitated HOD Prof. Tirukovela Srinivas in recognition of his valuable contributions to academic research, guidance, and promotion of research culture.
