KARIMNAGAR, MAY 05, 2025: Admissions to District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) in Telangana, leading to a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed), are typically through the Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (TG DEECET).
To be eligible for TG DEECET, candidates must have passed or appeared for the Intermediate examination (10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH) and be at least 17 years old as of September 1, 2025, of the admission year. The official website for TS DEECET is https://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in/.
The students were informed to apply for admissions into D El Ed and courses before May 15, 2025 and appear in the online examinations on May 25, 2025, said Karimnagar DIET principal Sriram Mondaiah and added that the D El Ed examination would be conducted in English, Telugu and Urdu languages and DPSE examination in English language only.
