

KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 17, 2025: Diwali celebrations were held on a grand scale at Achievers Active School in Kothirampur, Karimnagar town, on Friday, to celebrate the festival of Diwali. The programme was inaugurated by the school director, Ch Venkateshwarlu and the school principal, Ch Pallavi, by lighting the lamp.
Later, the students explained the significance of the Diwali festival through their dances and Ramayana plays.
On this occasion, the Diwali stories presented by the pre-primary and primary students through a puppet show impressed everyone.
Later, the school director Venkateswarlu said that Indian festivals are a reflection of Indian culture. In this festival, everyone celebrates it with joy and enthusiasm, and this festival is the festival of divine lights and the brightness of the lights of consciousness that awakens the world.
After that, the school principal explained that the festival of Diwali is celebrated as a symbol of victory over evil. Later, the school distributed lamps to the students and explained the harm caused by burning firecrackers and said that they should light the lamps and celebrate a pollution-free Diwali.
