KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 09, 2026: A three-day training programme on Soft Skills was organized for II B.Tech students at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, from 9th to 11th March 2026. The programme was conducted by the Training and Placement Cell of the institute in association with Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK).
The sessions were delivered by Mr. Thomas, a trainer from TASK, who trained the students on important aspects of communication skills, personality development, teamwork, leadership qualities, and interview readiness. The programme aims to enhance students’ employability skills and prepare them for future career opportunities.
JITS Chairman Juvvadi Sagar Rao and Secretary and Correspondent J Sumith Sai appreciated the initiative and emphasised the importance of soft skills along with technical knowledge for career success
T Anil Kumar, Principal, highlighted that such training programmes help students improve their confidence, communication abilities, and professional behaviour required in the corporate world.
PK Vaishali, Dean – Academics, stated that continuous training programmes organised in collaboration with TASK help Students Bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
The programme was coordinated by the Head of the Department and the Training & Placement Officer, TASK Coordinator, along with faculty members. A large number of II B.Tech students actively participated and benefited from the training sessions.
