
KARIMNGAR, AUGUST 18, 2025: Dasari Mallesham, police constable by profession, who has turned into a photographer capturing nature and festivals, tribal festivals and habitations etc in exiting moods was honoured with a certificate by Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam during the second zonal police duty meet in Karimnagar town.
He had a passion for photography and had no formal training in photography. The exquisite composition of his pictures belies the fact that he learned the art merely by interacting with professional photographers such as Mahimala Kedar Reddy, Focus Srinivas, Manisha Venu and others and nurturing his interest.
He attended various workshops and learned the art of capturing tribals, festivals at places of worship. Recently, he captured the Shiva Shathulu and Bonalu festival in Komaravelli and Peddapur jatara, respectively. His photography is appreciated by RI D Sridhar Reddy, RI (admin) Rajanikanth, RSI Tirupati and others.
