
NAFSCOB chairman Ravinder Rao launches Mobile App of Karimnagar DCCB for I-phone users also
KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 14, 2025: NAFSCOB chairman and Karimnagar DCCB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao has formally launched the 72nd National Cooperative Week celebrations at the bank’s main office in Karimnagar town on Friday. He hoisted the cooperative flag in the presence of vice chairman P Ramesh, director Swamy Reddy, CEO N Satyanarayana Rao, general managers B Sridhar and Mohd Riazuddin and other employees and officials of cooperative sector. The theme of this year’s celebrations is “Cooperatives as vehicles of Atmanirbhar Bharath’.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ravinder Rao has called upon the bank employees to rededicate themselves for the development of the bank and uphold its image as the best cooperative bank in the country. Appealing the bank employees to attract the young customers into the bank-fold, he stressed on the need for ensure transparency, updated information technology and good relations with the customers.
Urging the bank employees to strive to improve deposits as the bank was providing highest interest rates among all the banks, Mr Rao said that the KDCCB should also attain self-sufficiency and self-reliance for the progress of the bank without relying on others for financial support. He also reminded that the bank had launched the ‘Sowbhagya fixed deposit’ scheme offering 8 per cent interest for general customers and 8.5 per cent interest for women and senior citizens. He informed the employees to campaign and maintain cordial relations with customers to increase deposits.

Recollecting that the statements made by first Prime Minister of the country Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who crusaded with the mission of ensuring ‘a school, a panchayat and a PACS’ in each for the progress of the country, he said that the present BJP government had created a separate Ministry for Cooperatives and taking all measures for strengthening cooperatives in the country.
He also reminded that the United Nations (UN) had accorded priority for the cooperative and declared the International year of Cooperatives in 2025 and earlier in 2012. DCO Ramanajaneyulu, CTI trainer Venkateshwar Rao and others were also spoke on the occasion.
The 72nd All India Cooperative Week will feature different themes each day, ranging from digitalization and rural development to youth empowerment, cooperative education, and innovation in business models.
The celebrations across India reflect the unity, resilience, and transformative power of cooperatives in building an Atma Nirbhar Bharat, strengthening local economies, and empowering millions through collective effort and shared prosperity.
On this occasion, the KDCCB chairman has launched the mobile app (Karimnagar DCCB) for the I-phone users also on Friday. Earlier, it was confined to only Android cellular phone users and now it had become accessible to I-phone users also. This facility enables customers to carry out banking transactions digitally, on a single platform.
