
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 04, 2024: A total of 562 cadets from colleges and schools of integrated Karimnagar district are participating in a 10-day long combined annual training camp at St George International School (CBSE) in Karimnagar town.
NCC Commanding Officer Col Daniel Lotzem has formally inaugurated the annual training camp of the NCC 9 Telangana Battalion at the sprawling premises of St George International School (CBSE) in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Col Daniel informed the cadets about the importance of discipline in life. He said the NCC imparted discipline and fitness among the youth. He exhorted the cadets to excel in all fields, enjoy the training and develop camaraderie and friendship among themselves. Lectures on various social and current topics will also be held. The camp will conclude on October 11, 2024.
Lt Col MS Rawat, Camp Commandant, highlighted various activities to be carried out during the camp. He said that the camp aimed at imparting quality training to the cadets in drill, weapons, shooting, map reading, obstacle training etc besides conducting sessions on national integration, road safety, fire safety, health and hygiene and personality development.
The camp is being hosted by St George International School, and Col Daniel Lotzem extended his gratitude to the school’s Chairman P Fatima Reddy. The programme was attended by ADM Officer Rakeshwar Jaswal, SN Sagar Singh, PA Staff and ANOs. During the camp, cadets will undergo rigorous training to develop their skills and character.
