KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 07, 2026: In a significant boost to campus placements, 41 students from the Government Degree & PG College, Jammikunta, were selected by various reputed companies during a Mega Job Mela held on Tuesday. The results were announced by Principal Prof. B. Ramesh during the valedictory programme.
The event was organised by the Telangana Skills and Knowledge Centre (TSKC) and coordinated by Placement Officer Uma Kiran. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Ramesh noted that representatives from 12 prominent companies from across the state conducted the interviews. Out of 150 students who participated in the drive, 41 secured immediate job offers, while another 40 students were shortlisted for specialised industrial training.

Placement Highlights:
Highest Package: ₹2.00 Lakhs per annum (awarded to student A. Dileep). Minimum Package: ₹1.60 Lakhs per annum.
During the distribution of appointment letters, company representatives praised the academic standards of the college, describing the talent displayed by the students as “highly impressive” and commendable.
While congratulating the achievers, Principal Prof. B. Ramesh urged the students to maintain their momentum. “Securing a job is just the beginning. Students should aim to pursue higher education alongside their careers to reach even greater professional heights,” he stated. He also expressed his appreciation for TSKC Coordinator Uma Kiran and Mentor Srikanth for successfully bridging the gap between rural talent and corporate requirements.
