KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 09, 2026: A mega Job Mela was successfully conducted at SRR Government Arts and Science College (autonomous) in Karimnagar town, under the aegis of the TSKC (Telangana State Knowledge Centre) Placement Cell on Thursday.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 460 students representing various departments of the college. Among them, 40 students secured placements in various companies. The active involvement and keen interest shown by the students emerged as a key highlight of the programme.
The event was conducted in the college seminar hall and was attended by several distinguished faculty members, including Vice Principal Nitin Pathak, Academic Coordinator Thallapalli Rajayya, IQAC Coordinator Harjoth Kaur, TSKC Coordinator P. Satish Kumar, and Career Guidance and Placement Cell Coordinator K. Sudhakar, among others.
Addressing the gathering, Vice Principal Nitin Pathak emphasised that students should effectively utilise such job fair opportunities to secure stable employment after completing their degrees. Academic Coordinator Thallapalli Rajayya remarked that job fairs are increasingly becoming vital platforms that provide employment opportunities even while students are still pursuing their studies.
IQAC Coordinator Harjoth Kaur highlighted the importance of skill development during the student phase, noting that it enables individuals to establish themselves more quickly in their professional careers. TSKC Coordinator P. Satish Kumar expressed his satisfaction at the large turnout of students participating in the event.
Placement Cell Coordinator K. Sudhakar advised students to continuously enhance their skills and make the most of the opportunities offered by participating companies.
On this occasion, the College Principal, Professor Kalvakunta Ramakrishna, extended his congratulations to the faculty team, the TSKC Placement Cell, the management of Marina Paints, and all the participating students for contributing to the success of the programme.
