TIRUMALA, DECEMBER 16, 2025: The TTD board meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Sri BR Naidu, along with TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal and other board members at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday.
Several decisions were taken in the larger interests of the devotees, besides some developmental activities.
Excerpts:
– Decision to grow temple trees in Palamaneru in a sprawling 100-acre land to make flagpoles and chariots for TTD temples.
– Approval of an additional grant of Rs 48 crore to provide state-of-the-art facilities at Sri Padmavathi Children’s Heart Centre in Tirupati
– nod to provide digital classrooms, CC cameras, computers, necessary software, necessary staff, etc., facilities in 31 educational institutions of TTD based on the report given by the sub-committee of the TTD Board Education Department.
– Approval towards the construction of the Srivari temple at the Bandra area of Mumbai at a cost of Rs.14.40 crores.
– Appointment of an Architect for planning the construction of an integrated township in a 20-acre area in Tirupati for the convenience of devotees.
– Decision to bring a comprehensive new policy on Cottage Donation
– Sanction of Rs.. 14.10 crores in the second phase as part of the reconstruction works of Sri Siddeswara Swamy temple in Talakona, Tirupati district. (Rs. 4 crore sanctioned in first phase)
– Decision to increase 270 more hostel seats in addition to the existing 2100 hostel seats in Sri Padmavathi Women’s Degree College, Tirupati.
– Decision to fill the 60 vacant posts in four categories in TTD Engineering Department based on notification that was already given.
– to continue road maintenance, repairs and maintenance of street lights by TTD in Tirupati.
– Decision to propose to the Government for the creation of 18 new posts of Potu Supervisors (Pachaka) in Srivari Potu as per the rules.
– A three-member expert Committee comprising Dr Chakravarthy Ranganathan-Director of Distance Education in National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, Dr Medasani Mohan, Director Annamacharya Project, Dr Prabhakar Krishnamoorty, Special Officer of Purana Itihasa Project, will recommend the divine names for the roads in Tirumala.
– Creation of one main Sannidhi Yadava post in Srivari temple and one additional Sannidhi Yadava post, approval of replacement as per rules.
– Approval for the preservation of ancient structures in Tirumala by setting up a special department and appointing experienced officers.
– Decision to provide mid-day meal to day scholars in TTD SV Junior College, SPW Junior College on the lines of mid-day meal scheme in force in State Government Junior Colleges.
– Decision to increase the wages of 62 priests, Paricharakas, potu workers and prasadam distributors working in TTD affiliated temples.

Endowments Secretary Hari Jawaharlal, Endowments Commissioner Ramachandra Mohan, besides the TTD Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, several board members and JEO Veerabraham also participated in this meeting.
