TIRUMALA, MARCH 21, 2026: The temples operating under the aegis of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams must be developed into state-of-the-art spiritual centres, asserted Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
On Saturday, he conducted a review meeting at the Artificial Intelligence-based Integrated Command and Control Centre located within the Vaikuntam Queue Complex.
Speaking on this occasion, he suggested strengthening the existing system to proactively identify and promptly resolve any issues that could inconvenience devotees in Tirumala.
He stated that the amenities provided to devotees—from the moment they enter the queue lines until they complete the Darshan of Srivaru and commence their return journey—should be monitored through the Command and Control Centre.
The CM emphasised that measures must be taken to ensure there is no scope for pollution in Tirumala in the future and directed that an action plan be formulated to foster a spirit of devotion through the construction of additional temples. He noted that the *Annadanam* (free food distribution) and *Pranadanam* (medical aid) schemes are continuing successfully, and suggested that the *Pranadanam* services be expanded to provide even better medical care.

The CM also directed skill-specific training for Srivari Seva volunteers to optimize their deployment across all TTD temples and also advocated extending TTD policies as models for national temples and mandated an Integrated Command and Control Center for queue management.
Earlier officials presented a PPP on ICCC while Jayaprasad Vejendla, a donor based in the USA, virtually explained CM, the services being rendered through the ICCC, facilitated by the Karya Foundation, with the support of various NRI donors.
TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra, Secretary to the Chief Minister Pradyumna, and Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, SP L. Subbarayudu, CVSO K.V. Murali Krishna, and other officials participated in this event.
Integrated Vision for Tirumala through ICCC
The Integrated Command Control Center was established by TTD as ”A Unified Model of Spiritual Excellence, Service, Technology & Sustainability”.

Significance:
Tirumala, anchored by the sacred Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, is one of the world’s most intricate spiritual ecosystems. Our responsibility is to preserve its divine sanctity while transforming its operations into a global benchmark of compassion, discipline, efficiency, and technological advancement. This integrated vision brings together spirituality, service, healthcare, digital governance, environmental responsibility, and operational excellence into a single unified framework.
We aim to ensure uniform quality, high hygiene, cost-effective functioning, and a deeply fulfilling spiritual experience across all temples. Healthcare becomes universal through the Pranadhamam initiative, which integrates multiple hospitals onto one platform so no devotee is denied treatment due to financial limitations. The Srivari Seva program is strengthened through digital accreditation, performance systems, behaviour training, and skill-based deployment—turning volunteerism into a structured force for social and spiritual service.
Tirumala’s temple network—currently 63 temples—is being connected through real-time digital monitoring, along with plans to build additional temples and expand into state capitals and global Hindu communities. Temples will evolve into centers of peace, meditation, healing, and inner transformation, ensuring devotees leave emotionally recharged and spiritually uplifted.
Darshan remains the core of the Tirumala experience. With daily footfall ranging at around 73,000 in this financial year, our goal is to increase darshan capacity without compromising dignity or comfort. Through process optimisation, rotation management, and atmosphere preservation, darshan becomes smoother and more spiritually enriching. Lean-time analytics and predictive modelling help balance crowd flow and reduce peak-time congestion.
A fully digital, real-time Command Center now connects queue management, field teams, and operations through live dashboards, instant alerts, and hourly monitoring. The AI-based Govinda system predicts footfall, waiting times, and capacity utilisation, enabling dynamic decision-making and transforming operations into a data-driven framework. Proven results—including reducing Vaikunta Ekadashi wait times from 11 to 8 hours (a 27% improvement)—demonstrate that scale and quality can grow together.
Environmental excellence remains central. Tirumala is transitioning to world-class standards of cleanliness, air and noise control, and real-time environmental monitoring. The long-term sustainability vision includes restricting private vehicles beyond Tirupati, expanding controlled and fully electric mobility, increasing renewable energy usage, and moving toward a net-zero, pollution-free Tirumala.
Devotee experience is being made seamless through smart entry systems, airport-grade baggage and vehicle scanning, and fully paperless administration—ensuring safety, speed, and convenience at every stage of the journey.
