The sare happens to be the precious gift from Sri Venkateswara Swamy to His lady love Sri Padmavati on the latter’s birthday, which happens to be the Tiruchanoor Panchami.
The pre-dawn rituals commence with the procession of Parimalam, tulasi Garlands, and other valuable ornaments to be presented to Sri Padmavathi by her better half.
This sare will be carried on the temple elephant,s circumambulating four mada streets and then taken to Tiruchanoor.
