TIRUPATI, JANUARY 07, 2026: TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu has urged the students studying at Sri Padmavathi Women’s Junior College to pursue their education, remembering the hard work of their parents.
The Chairman, who attended as the chief guest for the annual day celebrations at Sri Padmavathi Women’s Junior College on Wednesday, launched the mid-day meals scheme for day scholars.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said that parents are educating their children with great hopes, and therefore, he advised the students to pursue their education with determination and build a bright future for themselves.
He said that intermediate education is a golden opportunity to lay the foundation for a bright future.
”Every effort you make, and every decision you take at this stage will elevate your life to a higher level, he added.
He said that even though he was born into an ordinary farmer’s family, he reached the level of TTD Chairman through hard work without giving up hope and advised the students to set a goal and not stop trying until they achieve it.
He said that it is commendable that Sri Padmavati Junior College achieved a 97 per cent pass rate in the examinations last year in this competitive world, and he urged them to achieve 100 per cent results this time and bring fame and recognition to the TTD institution.
The Chairman said he is fortunate to launch the mid-day meals scheme for day scholars.
The TTD Board Chief congratulated the students who had excelled at the national level in sports.
Following this, he inaugurated the midday meal scheme arranged for the day scholar students and had lunch with them.
This facility provided at Sri Padmavathi Women’s Junior College will benefit 436 students.
Earlier, the college Principal, C. Bhuvaneswari, presented a comprehensive report on the college..
She stated that due to collective effort, the college achieved a 97 per cent pass rate in the previous year’s examinations.
Later, the cultural programs were performed by the students.
The program was attended by TTD Board members Panabaka Lakshmi, Bhanu Prakash Reddy, Shantharam and Naresh Kumar, DEO Venkata Sunil, college faculty, NCC and NSS students, and staff.
