KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 26, 2026: Achievers Active High School, Kothi Rampur locality, Karimnagar town, celebrated Sri Ram Navami — the birth anniversary of Lord Rama — the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, with religious fervour and gaiety on Thursday.
The function commenced with the traditional lighting of a lamp by School Director Ch Venkatshwarlu and Principal Ch Pallavi amid chanting of mantras by the school choir. Melodious bhajans were sung by students with religious fervour.
To mark the occasion, students began the proceedings by highlighting the significance of Sri Rama Navami through their speeches and recitations of poetry. The students in their traditional attire captivated the audience with the performance of the epic ‘Ramayana’, depicting the life of Sri Rama from his childhood to the killing of Ravana in Sri Lanka.

Director Ch Venkateshwarlu said the festival, which falls on the ninth day of Chaitra month indicates the removal of the bad and the entrance of divine power on earth. He laid emphasis on the importance of ‘Karma’ in our lives and advised everyone to follow the path of truth and honesty. He also shared many incidents with students depicting various phases of Lord Rama’s life. Celebrations filled the atmosphere with the spirit of devotion and love for Lord Rama.
