RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JANUARY 14, 2026: Marking the conclusion of the holy Dhanurmasa, Sri Godadevi Kalyanam was celebrated in a grand and devotional manner on Wednesday at the ancient and historic Sri Rukmini Satyabhama sametha Venugopala swamy temple in Thaduru village of Thangallapalli mandal of Rajanna-Sircilla district.
As part of the programme, the utsava idols of Sri Godadevi (Andal) and Sri Ranganathaswamy were first ceremoniously seated on the dais, followed by the performance of the Kalyanam ritual in accordance with scriptural traditions.
The divine wedding was held amidst Vedic chanting and soulful vocal music rendered by the devotees.
Faculty member of TGSWRDC for women in Shatrajpalli, near Vemulawada temple town, Reddymalla Deepthi, and her husband, Naresh, have sponsored the Anna prasadam distribution for devotees. More than 1500 devotees attended the Anna prasadam programme.
Temple chairman Reddymalla Anjaiah, Sarpanch Sadanandam, priests Srinivas Chigurala and Narasimha Chary, local representatives and other villagers attended in large numbers.
