Singapore bhajan troupes participate in Gosti ganam
TIRUMALA, MARCH 16, 2026: On the occasion of the 523rd death anniversary of Saint Tallapaka Annamacharya, Sapthagiri Sankeertana Goshti Gaanam was held on Sunday evening during the Unjal Seva of Sri Malayappa Swamy along with Sri Devi and Bhu Devi at Narayanagiri Gardens in Tirumala.
The 46th Pontiff of Ahobila Mutt, Sri Srivan Satagopa Sriranganatha Yatheendra Mahadesikan Swamiji, graced the event and delivered Anugraha Bhashanam. He said Annamacharya had a strong spiritual connection with Ahobila Mutt and received Mantra Upadesam there. Inspired by the 32 seed syllables of the Mantra, Annamayya composed about 32,000 keerthanas.

The TTD Additional EO Sri Ch Venkayya Chowdary honoured Swamiji with a shawl and presented Srivari Prasadams.
The Additional EO said TTD has recorded nearly 3,000 Annamacharya keerthanas since the launch of the Annamacharya Project in 1975 and propagated them worldwide.
He added that these compositions are sung in nearly 1,000 temples in the United States and are written in simple language for the common people.
Annamacharya Project artists rendered devotional keerthanas, captivating the devotees. Bhajan groups from Singapore and other regions also participated.
Later, TTD honoured members of the Tallapaka family.
