KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 09, 2026: Trinity – The School of Learning grandly celebrated the biggest harvest festival, Makara Sankranti Mahotsav-2026, ahead of the Sankranthi festival, on Friday, with great enthusiasm and cultural splendour.
The celebrations were graced by Additional DCP P Venkataramana, Trinity Educational Institutions Founder Dasari Manohar Reddy, Chairman Dasari Prashant Reddy, Chairperson & Academic Director Dr Dasari Mamatha Reddy, Principal Ratnamala and Academic Coordinator Srikanth.
Addressing the gathering, the Additional DCP spoke about the significance of the Pongal festival, highlighting the richness of Indian culture and traditions and the responsibility of passing these timeless values on to future generations. The founder Chairman emphasised that Trinity stands committed not only to academic excellence but also to nurturing cultural awareness and moral values, thereby promoting a holistic and value-based education system.

Adding colour and joy to the occasion, the school organized a Rangoli Competition for students’ mothers and a Kite Flying Competition for students’ fathers, which witnessed enthusiastic participation. First, Second, and Third prizes were awarded for Best Rangoli Designs and Best Kite Flying Champions, encouraging festive spirit and community bonding.
Students of Grades VIII and IX showcased their entrepreneurial and creative skills by organizing a vibrant Food Carnival, where parents and students relished a variety of delicious dishes prepared by the students themselves. The celebrations were further enriched by cultural programmes presented by students of Grades I to VII, which beautifully reflected the colours, traditions, and heritage of Indian festivals.
Teachers creatively decorated village-theme huts, offering a glimpse into the richness of rural life and traditions. Traditional elements such as Bhogi Mantalu, Haridasulu, and Gobbillu added authenticity and charm to the event. On this occasion, the Principal distributed certificates to students for their achievements in the Solo Dance Competition, CCA activities, and Sports, motivating them to excel in all spheres.
The grand celebrations concluded on a high note, celebrating the true spirit of Sankranthi—gratitude to nature, unity in diversity, and pride in India’s rich cultural heritage. The event left everyone with cherished memories and reinforced the school’s commitment to preserving and promoting festive culture among young minds.
