TIRUPATI, MARCH 19, 2026: As part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Tirupati, on the third day (Thursday), the Lord blessed devotees on the Simha (lion) Vahanam at 8:00 AM.
The Darshan of the Lord in the form associated with the lion symbolizes awakening of inner strength and energy. It inspires devotees to overcome laziness, act with determination, and achieve success with courage and leadership. Later, Snapanam (sacred ablution) was performed from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. During the ritual, the Utsava deities of Lord Kodandarama, along with Sita and Lakshmana, were ceremonially bathed with milk, curd, honey, coconut water, turmeric, and sandalwood.
In the evening, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the Lord will bless devotees on the Mutyapu Pandiri Vahanam.
