As per tradition, this sacred ritual is performed in the temple ahead of the Vaikuntha Ekadasi festival, which will be observed on December 30.
After the completion of the ritual, devotees were allowed for Sarva Darshan.
Temple AEO Bhaskara Narayana Choudary, Superintendent Seshagiri, Temple Inspector Dhananjayulu, along with the team of archakas, participated in the programme.
