RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, AUGUST 19, 2025: Former Chief Minister and BRS founder president K Chandrashekhar Rao’s wife Shobha, along with her grandson and KTR’s son Himanshu, offered special prayers to Lord Shiva at Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam in Vemulawada of Rajanna-Sircilla district on Tuesday.
The temple authorities accorded a traditional welcome. BRS Vemulawada assembly segment incharge and CAIMS chairman Chalmeda Laxminarasimha Rao presented a portrait of the temple shrine to Shobha. Former Municipal chairperson R Madhavi Raju, BRS leaders Anugu Manohar Reddy and others were also present.
On the other hand, the devotees formed serpentine queues to offer ‘bonam’ at the Baddi Pochamma temple shrine in the Vemulawada temple town. It is a ritual for the devotees to offer prayers to Lord Shiva and later offer ‘bonam’ to the Baddi Pochamma temple.
