KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 18, 2026: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) Karimnagar region has decided to operate over 700 special buses to the biennial Medaram Samakka-Sarakka jatara to be held in Mulugu district from January 27 to 31 from various parts of integrated Karimnagar district.
In a statement here on Sunday, RTC regional manager B Raju said that a total of 140 buses would be operated from Karimnagar town to Medaram, and the fares include Rs 390 for adults and Rs 220 for children.
About 50 buses from Husnabad, and the fares include Rs 350 for adults and Rs 200 for children. Fifty buses from Huzurabad to Medaram, and the fares include: Rs 320 for adults and Rs 180 for children.
A total of 175 buses run from Peddapalli to Medaram, and the fares include Rs 420 for adults and Rs 240 for children. Around 115 buses run from Godavarikhani to Medaram, and the fares include Rs 400 for adults and Rs 210 for children. A record number of 170 buses would be operated from Manthani, and the fares include Rs 350 for adults and Rs 210 for children.
Accordingly, the RM said that they had made all arrangements for the commuters proceeding on a pilgrimage to Medaram at the bus depots by erecting queue lines, and these specialbuses would be available 24×7, and the devotees could reach very near to the altars of the tribal Gods at Medaram. Incidentally, the Mahalakshmi scheme would be applicable in these special also for the women passengers.
