After the procession, the deities were brought near the Bangaru Vakili, and the priests conducted the Asthanam with the recitation of the Kaisika Purana.

Significance:
Kaisika Dwadasi is one of the most important festivals in Sri Vaishnava tradition. According to Kaisika Purana, Sri Varaha Swamy explained the story in 82 verses to Sri Bhudevi. From this, Kaisika Dwadasi gained its special importance.
Nambaduvan Story:
Nambaduvan, an ardent devotee, promised a Brahma Rakshasa(Demon) that after rendering Sankeertans in Kaisika Raagam before his deity to Sri Maha Vishnu, he would return to him to become the Demon’s feed.
Nambaduvan kept his word and returned. Sri Maha Vishnu (Sri Venkateswara in Kaliyuga) blessed Nambaduvan for his truthfulness and devotion and granted salvation. Hence this day became known as Kaisika Dwadasi.
Tirumala Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, TTD EO Sri AK Singhal, Deputy EO Lokanatham and other officers participated in this program.
