Garuda Vahana Seva integrates various art forms of the country

ARTISTS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY SHOWCASE THEIR SKILLS
DEVOTEES BRAVE THE RAIN TO WITNESS VAHANA SEVA AND ENJOY DANCES
TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 29, 2025: Artists from all over the country performed various dance forms depicting their state’s tradition and culture during the Garuda Vahana Seva on Sunday evening, adding glitz and glamour. The devotees enjoyed both Vahana Seva as well as the colourful art forms, braving the incessant rains.
These performances were organised under the auspices of Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP), Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance (SVCMD), Dasa Sahitya Project (DSP), and Annamacharya Project (ANP) of TTD.
A total of 38 groups from 22 states participated in this festival, and 957 artists performed their traditional dances and art forms. Srinivasa Kalyanam by the students of TTD Dance and Music College under the supervision of its principal, Dr. M. Uma Muddubala, captivated the devotees.
The enchanting art forms included Gumar-Rajasthan, Bedhara Vesham-Karnataka, Baredi-Madhya Pradesh, Tappetagullu-Srikakulam, Thimsa-Visakhapatnam, Bangra-Punjab, Dogri-Jammu and Kashmir, Karakattam-Tamil Nadu, Haryanavi-Haryana, Pantinrityam-Chattisgarh, Tippani Sambelu Folk Dance-Gujarat, Pondicherry folk dance, Goan Dance, and Himachal Pradesh folk dance added extra zing to the magnificent Garuda Vahana Seva.
While Rasaleela, Kathayattam, Uriyadi, Mayura Nrityam, Navadurga, and Yakshaganam also thrilled devotees. Besides Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Pondicherry, Kerala for the first time, the artistes representing the states of Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Manipur, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Orissa, Rajasthan also showcased their impeccable dancing skills, providing a visual treat to the multitude of devotees on Sunday evening.
The HDPP Secretary Sri Sriram Raghunath and his team supervised the entire activity with the support of Dr P R Ananda Theerthacharyulu (Dasa Sahitya), Smt Vijayalakshmi(HDPP), Smt Lata(Annamacharya).
