TTD should be a reference to other religious organisations in quality services
Taking Srivari seva to the next level is one of our top priorities
Employees should work with team spirit ahead of Brahmotsavams- TTD EO AK Singhal
TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 11, 2025: Describing Tirumala temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy as the best-managed one in the entire country, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal called upon the employees of TTD to work with the same spirit in offering impeccable services to the scores of pilgrims and stand as a reference to other religious organisations.
During his maiden introductory meeting with the various HoDs at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Wednesday evening, Mr AK Singhal, who assumed charges as TTD EO for the second time, said that usually every IAS dreams of serving in TTD as EO for at least six months. By the grace of Sri Venkateswara and with the blessings of my parents, teachers, wishes of my family members, and well-wishers, today I have taken over charge as TTD EO for the second time. During my earlier stint as TTD EO for 3years and 4months, many of our employees and even devotees wished me to take the reins again. I thank CM of AP N Chandrababu Naidu for giving me this opportunity. With this, my responsibilities and expectations have also increased. I anticipate the same support which you all offered earlier this time also”, he added.
The EO said while he was trekking Alipiri Footpath on Wednesday morning, he happened to interact with the devotees who expressed immense pleasure over the enhanced taste of Laddu and Anna Prasadams in the last year. “This feedback shows the commitment shown by my predecessor in improving the prasadams. In Tirumala, there is no end to development, and several improvements have been made over a period of time. Under the Instructions of CM of AP Sri N Chandrababu Naidu, the priority areas are to protect the sanctity of the temple, provide amenities to common devotees using technology, spread Sri Venkateswara Bhakti cult across the country by building Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples in the capitals of other states and to further expand the services of Srivari Sevaks. Utilising the services of local Sevaks in the respective areas and inviting such dedicated Sevaks during festivals, events and peak days for Seva in Tirumala.
These are the priority areas of the CM as well as our Trust Board. Right now, our immediate focus should be on the conduct of Srivari’s annual Brahmotsavams, which is just a couple of weeks away. The EO also said his predecessor, J Syamala Rao, has informed him of the various pending works which need to be executed, keeping in view the larger interests of the devotees. We need to strengthen all these systems over a period of time. We will improve TTD services by accepting the suggestions of devotees from all over the world. The various issues related to the TTD employees will also be dealt with in the coming days to find an amicable solution wherever possible.
Later, the TTD Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, JEO Veerabrahmam, CV&SO Muralikrishna have also briefed the EO on the various ongoing development activities in TTD as well in Vigilance and Security wing. FACAO Balaji, CE Satyanarayana, DLO Varaprasad, CPRO Dr T Ravi, Welfare Officer Anandaraju and other HoDs were also present.
