On the first day, from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm, Sri Kodandarama Swamy graced the finely decked float in the waters of the temple pushkarini.
Later, the deity was taken in a procession along the four mada streets of the temple, blessing the devotees.
On this occasion, devotional programmes such as bhajans, Harikatha and music concerts were organised under the auspices of the TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and Annamacharya Project.
Superintendent Muni Shankaran, Temple Inspector Suresh, other officials and a large number of devotees participated in the event.
