CONSTRUCTION OF 1000 TEMPLES IN DALIT COLONIES
CRIMINAL CASES AGAINST FALSE PROPAGANDISTS ON TTD
TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 16, 2025; TTD Chairman BR Naidu announced that extensive arrangements are being made for the Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavam in Tirumala.
TTD trust board meeting under the chairmanship of BR Naidu was held at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday.
Later, the Chairman, along with TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, explained the decisions taken in this meeting during the media conference.
Highlights of the meeting:
• Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams will be held in Tirumala from September 24 to October 02. Extensive arrangements for the convenience of the devotees are underway.
• Srivari Brahmotsavams will begin on the 23rd of this month with the Ankurarpanam. The ceremonious flag hoisting-Dhwajarohanam will be held at the Meena Lagna between 05.43 pm and 06.15 pm on September 24.
• As part of the Brahmotsavams, on September 24, the Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu will offer silk vastrams to Sri Venkateswara Swamy on behalf of the state government.
-Elaborate arrangements in the wake of the Chief Minister’s visit. The Chief Minister will participate in the Pedda Sesha Vahanam of Srivaru at 9 pm on the same day.
– On September 25, Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate PAC-5 Sri Venkatadri Nilayam.
• Similarly, the Chief Minister will unveil the calendars and diaries for the year 2026.
-During this year, Brahmotsavams, steps have been taken to count the number of devotees by involving ISRO and L & T teams.
• To impress the devotees on the occasion of Brahmotsavam, grand flower decorations, arches, and large LED screens are being installed in all the main places.
– On the occasion of Brahmotsavams special darshans for the disabled, elderly, NRIs and parents with infants remains cancelled from the 23rd of this month to the 02nd of October. Break darshans have been restricted to protocol dignitaries only.
• A buffer stock of 8 lakh laddus available every day.
• On the occasion of Garuda Seva on 28th of this month, the movement of two-wheelers to Tirumala stands cancelled from 9 pm on September 27 to 6 pm on September 29. Similarly, the Alipiri and Srivari Mettu walking paths will remain open round the clock on September 28.
-Additional CCTV cameras will be installed in crowded areas of Tirumala.
• Geo-tagging for the sake of children not to get lost during Brahmotsavam.
– Steps to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Brahmotsavam.
• Live broadcast in HD quality so that devotees from all over the world can watch the Vahana sevas
• four lakh buttermilk packets to devotees on Garuda Seva.
-Fruit and flower, a photo exhibition in Tirumala to impress the devotees.
Other important decisions
• Approved the construction of Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in 7 acres of land in Kolikoppa village in Belagavi, Karnataka state, with funds from TTD Srivani Trust.
• In Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Anantavaram village, Tullur mandal, Guntur district, it has been decided to undertake the development of a Rajagopuram, Mukha Mandapam, ornaments for Sri Subrahmanya Swamy, as well as drinking water facilities, toilets and other development programs in the temple in a phased manner for Rs. 7.20 crore.
– It has been decided to undertake Rs. 5.73 crore for the development of Sri Pattabhirama Swamy Temple Pushkarini, Kalyana Vedika Rajagopuram, and other development works in Valmikipuram, Annamayya District, and Rs.1.50 crore for the reconstruction of Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple Pushkarini in Tarigonda.
– Sri Badri Venkata Reddy and Sri Badri Vishnuvardhan Reddy from Hyderabad have donated 0.74 cents of land worth Rs. 89.54 lakhs in Survey No. 141-2, Kaja village, Mangalagiri mandal, Guntur district to TTD. Approval has been given to accept the said land.
• Similarly, as per the orders of Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, it has been decided to construct 1000 temples in Dalit colonies across the state in the first phase.
• Criminal cases will be registered against those who spread misinformation about TTD.
