TIRUMALA, OCTOBER 04, 2024: The deities of all the 14 worlds as described in Hindu scriptures received the invitation to take part in the grand Navahnika Salakatla Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala which started in a religious manner with Dhwajarohanam on Friday evening.
As a part of this ceremony, the Garuda Dhwajapatham was hoisted in the auspicious Meena Lagnam by the religious staff amidst the chanting of vedic hymns as per the tenets of Vaikhanasa Agama Shastra between 5:45pm and 6pm.
Dhwajarohanam indicates extending invitation to all the chiefs of different worlds in the cosmos to participate in the Brahmotsavams of the Universal Almighty Sri Venkateswara.
Both the Pontiffs of Tirumala, Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, all the Principal Priests, chief priests, agama advisors, TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao and other officials participated.
