Inviting all the deities, the Dhwajarohanam ritual was performed between 10 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. As part of the ritual, special pujas were offered to the flag bearing the image of Garuda, which was then hoisted atop the Dhwajasthambham by the temple priests.

As per the temple legend, it is believed that the idol of Lord Venkateswara was installed here by an ardent devotee Sri Krishnacharya.
While Tirumala is known as Varaha Kshetra, Devuni Kadapa is revered as Hanuman Kshetra. Notably, an idol of Anjaneya Swamy is present behind the main deity of Sri Venkateswara.

Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya is believed to have directly served the deity here and referred to Him as Kadapa Rayudu and Venkatadri Kadapa Rayudu in his compositions.
In ancient times, this was the traditional route for pilgrims travelling to Tirupati, and it is customary to have darshan of the deity at Devuni Kadapa before visiting Tirumala.
Inscriptions reveal that the Rajagopuram of this temple and the gopuram of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple at Tirupati were constructed during the same period.
The Rathotsavam and Ratha Saptami celebrations are conducted in a grand manner every year, attracting a large number of devotees.
Every day Vahana Seva Schedule is between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., and again between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
During the Brahmotsavams, cultural and devotional programs such as Kolata dances, Harikatha, and Bhajans will be organized every day before the Vahana Sevas under the aegis of the TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad.
Artists from the Annamacharya Project will render Annamacharya Keertanas. Deputy Executive Officer of the temple Prasanthi, Superintendent Sri Hanumanthayya, Temple Inspector Sri Eswar Reddy, priests, and other officials participated in the Dhwajarohanam.
