The cultural events were conducted under the auspices of SV College of Music and Dance and SV Nadaswara and Dolu School.
A Nadaswara concert by instructors Sri Keshanna Dolu and Sri Nageswara Rao and their troupe was held from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm. This was followed by a devotional vocal concert from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm by Dr. Vandana, accompanied by Sri Jayaram on violin and Sri Ramesh on Mridangam, rendering kritis such as “Gam Gam Ganapathe”, “Shankara Srigiri” and “Gangadhiswaram”.
Later, a Bharatanatyam performance by Sarath Chandra and team was presented between 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm, featuring classical items including Nartana Ganapati, Bho Shambho, Kalabhairava Ashtakam, Shambho Mahadeva, Shanmukha Kautam, Natesa Kautam and Shiva Stuti.
College Principal Uma Muddubala was present and congratulated the artistes.
