TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 21, 2025: While welcoming constructive suggestions from the media, TTD Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary said, protecting the sanctity and serenity in Tirumala is everyone’s responsibility and especially the media by giving proper information to the pilgrim public.
An informal meeting with the media at Annamayya Bhavan, which was held on Saturday evening, the Additional EO said, with the social media gaining pace in recent times, most of the YouTubers are trying to confuse devotees with fake and baseless reports rather than correct information.
”By doing this, we are misleading the devotees across the globe, which is not at all a healthy practice. In fact, the responsibility of protecting the sanctity of Tirumala Hills and promoting TTD activities is more on you as you have better knowledge in all subjects related to Tirumala development since you all have been reporting here for several years”, he maintained.
