
CM to finalise designs in consultation with Priests at the Medaram Temple site
Instructs officials to maintain the originality of ‘ Ammavari Gaddelu (sacred platforms)
CM Revanth Reddy holds a review of the Medaram Development Plan
HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 21, 2025: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will visit the famous Medaram temple on September 23. During the visit, the Chief Minister will hold a meeting with the priests of Sammakka Saralamma temple and finalise the designs.
At the review of the Medaram Development Plan on Saturday, the CM said that he will release the designs for the Medaram Development Plan with the approval of the local priests. It may be mentioned here that the Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Maha Jatara in 2026 is scheduled to be held from January 28 to 31, 2026, in the Mulugu district of Telangana.
Instructing the officials to constitute a Technical Committee to monitor the Medaram development works, CM Revanth Reddy said that the government is ready to expand the existing temple premises on the request of the temple priests.
The Chief Minister emphasised that the originality of the Ammavari Gaddelu (Sacred platforms) remains unchanged and keeps alive the local traditions under the development plan. A Welcome Arch should be constructed reflecting the tribal heritage. The officials were also ordered for a plantation of traditional saplings around the temple.
The Ministers, Tribal MPs, MLCs, MLAs and concerned officials will accompany the CM during the Medaram visit.
