Dalit organisations stage a protest over protocol violation for not inviting Peddapalli MP
KALESHWARAM (JAYASHANKAR-BHUPALAPALLI DT), MAY 15, 2025: Chief Minister A Revan Reddy has formally launched the Saraswathi pushkaralu at the ancient and historic Sri Kaleshwara Muktheeshwara swamy devathanam in Kaleshwaram of erstwhile Mahadepuv mandal on Thursday evening.
The Chief Minister, along with Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhkar, Konda Surekha, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Peddapalli MLA Ch Vijayaramana Rao and others, took a holy dip in the river Saraswathi waters. Later, they offered prayers at the Kaleshwaram temple shrine.
Earlier, the Dalit leaders staged protests carrying placards alleging ‘protocol’ violation by the authorities by not displaying the photograph of Peddapalli MP G Vamshi Krishna on the official posters. They also alleged the organisers had not invited the Peddapalli MP for the pushkaralu.
