
TIRUMALA, NOVEMBER 08, 2025: Following the feedback and suggestions received from the majority of devotees in the form of mails, WhatsApp messages, and during interaction, TTD has reintroduced the online quota for issuing Angapradakshinam tokens on a first-come, first-served basis from February next instead of the existing Lucky Dip system, said TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.
After the Dial Your EO program held at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday, the EO had a brief media conference. Some excerpts:
- Karthika Brahmotsavam at Tiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple will be celebrated from November 17 to 25
• For the convenience of devotees, a permanent Shelter, Q lines, Steel foot over bridges and Toilets from Alwar Tank Guest House to Gogarbham Dam Circle in Tirumala would be constructed at a cost of about Rs. 25 cr as decided in the Trust Board
• As per the suggestions of devotees, the TTD Board has constituted a committee to examine the procedure for issuing SRIVANI and other formats of darshan tokens and tickets. Following the committee report, further measures will be taken
• Construction of 5,000 Bhajan Mandirs in backward areas of the state with funds from the Srivani Trust at Rs.750cr
– TTD Board has decided to protect biodiversity and increase greenery in the Tirumala forest area with an action plan for the next 10 years.
– TTD is taking steps to provide Annaprasadam to the respective areas of the temples to meet the influx of devotees.
• The development work of the temple precincts, Kalyanotsava Mandapam, Rajagopuram and other facilities at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Venkatapalem, Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, will begin from the 27th of this month for Rs. 35.35 cr
• Recently, some devotees from Hyderabad have complained that they were cheated by brokers for the darshan of Srivaru. Such complaints are being received frequently. Therefore, the TTD EO again appealed to devotees via media not to approach the middlemen for the darshan and obtain darshan tickets only online.
