For the past 25 days, Srivaishnava Jeeyangars recited the 4,000 sacred verses (Divya Prabandham) composed by the 12 Alwars every day as an offering to Sri Venkateshwara.
As it was the final day, the “Tanneeramudu” ritual was held. After the conclusion of the festival, on January 13, Sri Malayappa Swamy with Sridevi and Bhudevi will proceed to the Sri Tirumala Nambi Temple in South Mada Street.
