TIRUMALA, DECEMBER 20, 2025: The annual Adhyayanotsavams commenced in a grand manner on Friday evening at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Tirumala. The sacred festival will be observed for a period of 25 days.
As part of the inaugural proceedings, Adhyayanotsavam rituals were conducted at the Ranganayakula Mandapam between 7.30 pm and 8.30 PM.
It is a long-standing tradition to conduct the Adhyayanotsavams in the sanctum sanctorum of the Lord eleven days before Vaikuntha Ekadasi during the holy Dhanurmasa.
On this occasion, the Divya Prabandha pasurams composed by the twelve Alwars, extolling the divine glory of Lord Venkateswara, are recited in Goshti Gaanam by Sri Vaishnava Jeeyangars.
The programme was graced by the presence of Tirumala Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Tirumala Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Deputy Executive Officer of Sri Venkateswara Temple Sri Lokanatham, along with other officials and temple staff.
