YADADRI, JULY 16, 2025: In a shocking incident, two DSPs belonging to the Andhra Pradesh Intelligence and Security Wing were killed and two others sustained serious injuries when the Scorpio car in which they were travelling hit a divider and turned turtle at Khaitapur in Choutuppal mandal of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district on Saturday.
Reports reaching here said the DSPs were on their way to Hyderabad on an investigation into a case. The speeding car (AP 28 P 117) lost control and hit the divider and turned topsy-turvy and fell on the other side of the road. A lorry passing on the road hit the car, killing the two DSPs. ASP Prasad and driver Narsing Rao sustained serious injuries.
The police rushed to the spot and retrieved the dead bodies from the mangled car, and shifted the ASP and the driver to the hospital for treatment.
