PEDDAPALLI, APRIL 25, 2024: Task Force personnel belonging to the Ramagundam Commissionerate of Police have raided the gambling den and arrested seven persons for gambling using cards and seized Rs 2,51,130 cash, seven mobile phones, four bikes ad a four-wheeler from a lodge in Jyothinagar under NTPC police station limits on Thursday.
Following credible information, the Task Force police lead raided the hotel and arrested seven persons for playing gambling with cards and seized cash etc. The arrested include Dasari Mallesh (54), Pettam Jampaiah (32), Kancharapu Venkat Rao (60), Sai Venkatesh (55), Singareni employee, Pusa Venkanna (58), Tavatam Ramesh and B Srinivas (41) all hailing from various parts of Godavarikhani coal belt. The arrested were handed over to NTPC police station and registered a case.
