KARIMNAGAR, MAY 04, 2025: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has said that the Union government will not hold any peace talks with the Maoists Naxalites in the country.
There is no question of holding talks with Naxalites who hold guns and kill innocents, he pointed out and added that the Congress government had banned the Maoists for killing several leaders belonging to the Congress, BJP, TDP and others by using landmines and other methods.
He alleged that the Maoists have killed innocent tribals, branding them as informers and disturbing poor families. He said that the government action would continue against the Maoist Naxalites until they give up their arms.
The Union Minister was talking to newsmen after unveiling the statue of Lord Hanuman in Kothapalli on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Sunday. Claiming the caste census announced by the Union government as a historic decision, he ridiculed the Congress party for claiming it as its victory.
There is no comparison between Congress’s caste census and Modi’s caste enumeration, he stated and added that Congress’s caste census gravely wronged the backward classes (BCs). They deliberately underreported the BC population. People are no longer believing Congress’s deceptive words. Congress is enacting dramas to divert attention from its failure to implement the six guarantees. We are identifying and deporting foreigners without passports, he said.
Mr Bandi Sanjay said that the Congress must clarify its stance on Rohingyas. It is not right to politicise the issue of law and order. Why has no action been taken despite the NDSA (NDSA likely intended as NDMA – National Dam Safety Authority) report on Kaleshwaram?Congress and BRS are one and the same. Both parties shamelessly compete to hold talks with Maoists, he mentioned.
