
HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 18, 2025: Most wanted Maoist Naxalite and Central Committee Member Madhvi Hidmas alias Santosh (51), his wife Raje alias Rajakka and four others, Malla, Deve, Chelluri Narayana alias Suresh and Tech Shankar in an exchange of fire with police in the forests of Marudimilli in Alluri Seetharama Raju district in the tri-borders of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Chhattisgarh states on Tuesday morning.
Reports reaching here said that following the credible information about the movement of the Naxalites, the security forces launched the combing operations in the forests from the morning. After noticing the Naxalites, the police informed them to surrender. But, the Naxalites opened and in retaliation, the police opened fire, killing six Naxalites.
Hidma was born in Purvati village of Sukma district in Chhattisgarh state. He was the youngest to become the Central Committee member of Maoists. He was known for guerrilla attacks and worked as the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army Commander and the Dandakaranya Special Zone committee leader. He was responsible for more than 26 lethal attacks on the armed forces. He was the mastermind behind the killing of 76 CRPF personnel.
