KARIMNAGAR, JULY 28, 2025: The Karimnagar Three Town police have carried out a surprise cordon and search operation in Kisan Nagar locality in Karimnagar town on Monday and seized 71 vehicles not possessing documents or number plates.
Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam had personally participated in the cordon and search operations. He conducted checks pertaining to letting out houses to old criminals and seized the vehicles, including 64 bikes, four autos, one auto-trolley and a car for not having the necessary documents.
The CP explained that the purpose of such operations is to reduce crime, improve public safety and make residents feel secure. He said that these searches help identify criminals or suspicious individuals hiding in the area.
The CP also enlightened the residents on cybercrimes and urged them to dial 1930 immediately if they face any such incidents. He also warned that the police would deal firmly with those against the drugs and ganja in the district and informed the people to dial 100 and alert the police if they notice any such incidents of supply of ganja or drugs.
