KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 01, 2025: Nagrole Shubham Prakash, the 2022 batch IPS, assumed charge as the Karimnagar Rural ACP of Karimnagar Commissionerate of Police on Wednesday.
A native of Wardha district in Maharashtra state, Mr Shubham Prakash had completed his Engineering in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur. He was selected to the IPS and Telangana cadre in 2022. Before his transfer as ACP to Karimnagar, Mr Prakash worked as Assault commander of Greyhounds.
After taking charge, he held a meeting with the Karimnagar Rural division SHOs and sub-inspectors and conducted a review meeting on the prevailing law and order situation. It may be mentioned here that the government had posted an IPS officer for the first time for the ACP post in Karimnagar rural division of the Commissionerate.
