KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 29, 2025: The people of Karimnagar town woke to a rude shock with a major fire mishap at a cloth showroom at Annapurna complex near the busy Tower circle commercial area in Karimnagar town on Wednesday morning.
The fire originated from Kapila dresses, reportedly due to an electric short circuit, had spread to neighbouring shops, including Vinayaka Enterprises photography shop, Canon photography. A huge quantity of dresses and other materials stored in the showroom were completely gutted in the fire.
Alerted by locals, fire department personnel rushed to the spot and battled the flames for nearly two hours before bringing the situation under control. Smoke engulfed the entire region, causing commotion among the morning walkers.
